Target media on Instagram using Hashtags.
Targeting by hashtags allows you to target media based on the hashtags Instagram users have added to their photos/videos.
It’s important that you do your research to ensure that you’re targeting high quality hashtags.
Select targeting source
In order to Like, Comment, or Follow based on Tags, select Targeting source: hashtags under Targeting.
Then, scroll down to the Tags section of your Activity page and click the Add button.
Simply type in a hashtag to the search field on the Add Tags interface and click the Search button to see other recommended hashtags, which are conveniently listed along with the number of media associated with the hashtag.
You can search multiple times without needing to close the popup. Simply click the box next to the hashtag you want, and continue searching and adding hashtags.
You must add at least one hashtag if you are using hashtags as your Targeting source.
You can search hashtags or you can upload a list of tags by clicking the Enter your list of hashtags link in tags adding interface. Please note that # symbol is not required. Using 10 tags and more is recommended for this setting.
You can add up to 1000 hashtags.
When you’re finished, don’t forget to click the blue Add button to add all of your hashtags to your Targeting. And of course, click the Start/Stop button on your Activity page to restart your activity after changing your settings.
Delete all Hashtags at once
If you’re ready to test a new group of hashtags, and want to easily delete all your hashtags in one go, simply click the drop down arrow next to the Add button under Tags. Here you can select Delete all hashtags.
Optimizing your Tags
Be sure to monitor your hashtags. If you find that certain groups of hashtags are not producing the desired results, test different hashtag groups, or other Targeting methods.
One way to test different sets of hashtags is to save your settings as a preset using the Save/Load Settings button.
